I just got an email today. Some spam, but that's not the point.

The first line was...

"Hello, [email protected]"

That is not my address, yet it was sent to my account. I just thought that was a little odd =\

your email address was in the BCC field; hence the reason you couldn't see it. It's not uncommon for spammers to do this.
