Congratulations! I've tried sooo many times. After a week or two you'll be feeling better than you ever have. I think it might be time for me to stop again, but in Spain its super hard. Everyone and their grandmother smokes here...

I quitted smooking too...
been more than a month now :D

Don't give in man have a nicorette gum or patch if that urge comes back. Been 6 months here don't get the urge anymore(well rarely).

thank you for saying "stopped" and not "quit." no one QUITS smoking until the day they die. you only stop for extended periods.

Congrats, I stopped about 9 months ago... Now I cant stand to be around it.
It does take about 6 months to a year for your lungs to start working correctly again... Keep it up.

The sore throat is normal, I've heard its because cigarettes have some kind of chemical or something that also soothes your throat so you don't realize what's happening to yourself.

almost 2 years since I quit, I think I put on at leats 10 kgs

I can't remember when did I stop smoking but one thing is for sure my body is doing good compared to the times when I was really a chain smoker.

90 days for me. It does suck ass. My throat hurt at first now its my lungs that feel like shit. Its a real joy getting healthy.

i smoked for a few years way back when...i havent touched a cigarette in about nine years now...i dont even like the smell now...you'll feel much better about yourself and save some $$$ at the same time...

Im ready to quit too. I got some sublimanal tapes and this is going to be one of the hardest things I have done in a long time.

I can't belive how easy it was for some people. I know this will be a very very painfull process.

I really wanna quit smoking everything but im scared my body would go in shock. LOL
