Did the sopranos suck tonight?
deciding if i wanna watch it or not....
I thought it was ok, though I havent complained much about a single episode and ive seen them all. The coma ones were the closest ive came to not liking an episode.
The Carmela bits were grating and not necessary, but the rest of the show was great. Finally some action.
Absolutely not.
Vito's abrupt killing made it. All that momentum, leading in his favor to start a new life. So-so outing with Tony 'almost' considering letting him relocate his sideshow elsewhere. Suddenly, dead. Phil acts. Beaten to death. It was perfect. The end killing of the NY guy was also a great touch. Overall, above average. Not a 'pine barons' classic episode though. |
was goooood
shit was good
I decided to watch it later. I was too busy for the first showing.
arrgggg, i give it a yes, simply do to the fact that there is only 9 episodes left, and im ready for some shit to go down. Im ok with the events that took place tonight, but something dramatic needs to happen soon

"There's nothing gay about hell!" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh ... Vito getting whacked, Tony giving AJ the little pep talk, the stabbing of the NY Capo and some other great dialog saved this episode That Paris shit with Carmela sucked a lot of the wind out of the show though! :2 cents: |
just got finished watching it....the new york capo getting iced was good stuff lol
Yeah, people need to quit griping about this show. There's so much hidden shit going on in every episode, it's like the hints and clues are being provided but few here are picking up on them, and everyone's crying about "how much it sucks".
Jesus christ already. This show is absolutely amazing, I'm sucking up every second of every episode like it was gold dust here. Shit's happening in every episode that is going to eventually culminate into something huge, I can feel it. (/Tony Soprano voice) |
I liked this episode, but I really hope Carmella getting all sentimental or "morbid" is going to culminate in something. With the final Paris scene of her looking at the searchlight - did it remind anyone else of Tony's coma scenes where the searchlight/foglight would show up when he was closer to death? Or am I imagining things/not remembering them properly? :Oh crap
there were some dragging moments, but how can you complain when two people get whacked in one show...
I thout the Paris scenes were allright, with a bit of merit/depth throughout every scene. However, misguided placement, as this is my mob show. Not desperate housewives.
Anyway look at how Carmella gets absorbed in her surroundings, while her friend at last minute scurries back into the hotel for some souvenir napikins (more shit). Or goes off to fuck a 26 yr old, etc. Carmella depicts the suddenly aware American, who finally can see outside the bubble. Finally have an appreciation for things outside one's own element. While her friend Rowe is the self-absorbed Americanized oblivious fuck. As well as careless to the beauty that surrounds her. Before this episode, I pegged Carm as joining the Soprano family by series end - with all her "free time" and what I saw as hints. Maybe not though. |
