You can't grab a screenshot with your editing software?

The Ghost 05-21-2006 04:53 PM

What editing software are you using with it?

you should be able to create a still frame through Premiere and export it out as a JPG. the pics may not be perfectly crisp, and here'a little lesson in why:

depending on your capture frame rate, you were probably shooting at 24, 30, or most likely 60fps. which means your shutter speed was AT BEST 1/60 sec.

a decent photographer knows that to stop motion and receive a sharp photo you cannot even think about shooting less than 1/125 sec. video cameras, even HD, are not meant to capture still photos.

your screen shots will be a little blurry unless you were filming a potted plant. sorry.

You need Final Cut Pro Studio from Apple.
It's best for HD productions.

Good Luck :pimp

Ok thanks so www.givemepink.com uses 1/125 right? They pics are so sharp. Thanks a lot for detailed answer for taking your time.
