We just had about 8 days here in Pennsylvania, I chose a great day to plant grass. I knew I had to get my ass in the yard when I seen the weather.com 10 day ext. forecast.

Drake 05-21-2006 08:12 AM

Somebody should invent a fun activity that can be done in the rain, the same way you can ski when it snows or play ball when it's sunny. That way it wouldn't make you sad and blue:(

Ray@TastyDollars 05-21-2006 08:13 AM

May 21st and I have yet to plant any vegetables. Looks like I won't have any tomatoes till September....hope the lettuce and cucumbers will grow quickly.

yeah enough already goddammit!

MasterCore 05-21-2006 09:39 AM

Had our first serious winter storm last night. Woke up to find holes in the garden where the surface water made its way down to the ground water below the property. What happens when houses are built on sandy soil. :(

BoyAlley 05-21-2006 10:08 AM

I live in Orlando it hardly ever rains here. :winkwink: :winkwink:

Except for when we have hurricanes. :Oh crap :Oh crap

I'll trade you. We don't get 10 days of rain a year :(

Basic_man 05-21-2006 10:31 AM

This morning was enough sunny to make a trip in the wood ;)

RayBonga 05-21-2006 10:37 AM

We have sunny days most of the year here :)

SilentKnight 05-21-2006 11:14 AM

Yeah, this weather system stalled over the Great Lakes the past week or more really sux.

We were hopin' to get the garden in this weekend - but looks like it ain't happenin'.

v4 media 05-21-2006 11:54 AM

We get about 20 days of rain a year here..
I love the stuff, go upstairs and get wet sitting on the roof.

The sun gets annoying in the summer everyday 90f+, I can see the med from my ofice window, stops me working cause the beach is full of hotties.

Smurfette 05-21-2006 12:00 PM

Ya it sucks we've been having it real cold here the last week, the icebergs are just off the shore and bringing cold wind in, but typical may 24 weekend- it started to rain last night I'd hate to be camping this weekend :(

Sounds like me previous locale. About 50 miles from the south-east Morrocan border. The village I live outside was officially in the sahara. We got all our rain over 6 to 12 and then nothing for the rest of the year. Fortunately there was enough ground water for drinking and live stock.

Samantha-creationcrew 05-21-2006 03:35 PM

Send Brisbane some.

They are about to institute level 3 water restrictions - if you want to water your garden you have to use a bucket.

No shit.

Main dam is down to 23% capacity.
