It has Push e-mail if you have a IMAP server that has IDLE support. I get my e-mail just as fast as the BB users do.

Blackberry's do it out of the box. That's what you seem to be missing. Many thinngs can be accomplished "IF" this or "IF" that.

The Treo does not support push e-mail out of the box. You have a Blackberry...you have push e-mail.

what is push email?

E-Mail is recieved on your handheld within seconds of it being sent to you. The moment it hits the server it is "pushed" to your Blackberry handheld device.

Also each Blackberry is assigned an individual PIN number that allows Blackberry to Blackberry direct messages instantly...that also provide confirmationm for when it is recieved.

Out of the box the Treo uses an e-mail client which polls and then pulls e-mails at 15 minute intervals.
