Photogs I need advice: Re: shooting escorts
 

Alright so these two escorts want me to shoot them. I have'nt worked with escorts before because of 2 reasons.

1) I'm suspicious they will use the content beyond just erosguide profiles, and I won't get compensated for that.
2) I think my fees should be raised for this type of client but don't know by how much.

How do you deal with Escort clients?

I let them pay me like anyone else - what difference does it make what they do? Or for that matter, if you are being paid for the shoot, and they get the pics, as the previous poster asked - what difference does it make what they "do with the pictures"?

If a non-escort portfolio model shoot was done by you and she made business cards or some kinda promo material from the pics - she paid you for that work, right? Why discriminate with escorts? :-)

Get what you can, make your money, but who gives a shit what they do with the picstures, if you have been paid for them...charge accordingly in advance!

I don't usually sign away full rights to clients. Usually there is something in the release that grants different types of commerical use. I hear what your saying though, just decide on a flat fee and hand it all over.

i've shot tons of them .. Flat Cash fee is the way to go

to be really honest about this with no jokes . . that's an 'outdated' biz model . . do you really have time to chase around for $12.37? . . flat rate 1/2 day, day rate and c-ya . . next!
