The Strangest Thing....
 

We just got back from being to a birthday function at a cafe/bar, where the strangest thing happended. My wife and I hadn't eaten all day so as an entree we paid for and had what was called a Nibbles plate that cost about $20. It had, Large potato wedges, Samosa's, Dim Sims, pieces of fish, mini spring rolls etc. As soon as waitress served it to us on a large silver tray the husband of the birthday girl thought it was a complimentary plate and took it away from us and handed it around to the other 20 people at the function. When we got it back most of it had gone :1orglaugh :1orglaugh. We didnt have the heart to tell him youve just all eaten our entree :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I would have just started eating off everyone else's entrees and if people started giving me funny looks, I'd just point and say, "I thought we were supposed to share everything.. you guys ate all MY dinner!"

i hope you really just do consider it strange and aren't all bent out of shape because people at your dinner party shared your plate. i don't remember the last time i went out to eat where i ate my whole plate by myself and didn't try my friends entrees.

and if my wife started drama, i would have fed her to the fucking party, too.

Yeah we were laughing at the time even though it would have been nice to eat some :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh ...and when their main courses came out as a joke we were tempted to go along while they were eating and pick things off their plate and say "Oh this is great" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
