Best place to buy real estate in AZ ?

Looking in the 500,000 - 600,000 range. Phoenix? Tempe?

All I can get for 600,000 here in the SF Bay Area is a condo that needs a lot of work. Time to get out of Cali.

You can get a nice house in the Southeast Valley of Phoenix - Chandler/Gilbert area for 500k or less, will cost you about 25% more to live in Scottsdale.
