Got scammed tonight :(
 

Was at timmy hoes and entered a raffle to win a brand new Audi TT with proceeds going to some kid camp. Found out after that it was for a weekend with the car. LOL

At least the money went to a good cause. :upsidedow

Still, that is weak.

Damn, just means the charity has it so bad they couldn't actually buy the TT, just rent it -- :( -- I assume the proceeds still went to the cause, even though the "prize" was not as expected.

yeah thats pretty bad even though it is for a good cause we have the Olivia Newton John Cancer Council ( Australia) ring up all the time, did it the first year but they just want you to buy the tickets yourself in advance, then you onsell them. Its so bloody frustrating, especially since I use to work in Pathology and test for genetic markers with many cancers. The problem use to be that everything was so strictly budgeted, and I just wonder where much of this money goes to as it was never spent on Medical Microbiologists. :( :(
