The feature list sounds quite nice. However, the program itself looks like shit. I don't think I've ever seen so many tiny buttons and abbreviations on any application on my entire life.

I'm sure it's nice, but I like my applications to be simple yet powerful. Not powerful yet require a degree to use them. I've been submitting for 4 years and looking at the screenshots I can't figure out what the hell is going on.

Have you gone through the tutorial videos? I think everything is pretty straight forward if you watch those.

With the amount of functionality dreamsubmitter has its virtually impossible to keep it in a very simple and tidey layout.

What we lack in this area we do makeup for in our customer support and service.

I have to admit I have had it for a few months and havnt used it just because of the learning curve - I switch it on and stare at it for a few minutes before deciding I just havnt got time to deal with it.

I dont know how you guys are really worth - but I think a good GUI designer would be worth employing......

Even a 'Quick start' wizard would be cool. 3 or 4 steps and ia basic subit is done - I could then look at the way it has set itself up, with a basic submit, and learn from that - tweaking things that look interesting. :2 cents:

Actually we do now have a quick start wizard, since version 2.0... you may have an old version, since 2.0 its a lot easier to use. Tabs are organized in order of what you would use etc.

And have you looked at our video help files? Most people find these very easy to follow and I personally have not done a 1 on 1 walkthrough since i released them... I still offer them, but most people after watching the videos do not need it anymore..

So if you havent, please checkout the videos, and if you have, and you still need help, im more than happy to get on the phone, icq, msn, skype or whatever you want 1 on 1 and spend an hour or two with you personally to teach you the program front to back.

Dreamsubmitter takes a bit to learn, but it's worth it because of the customization.

I want to use it. But I have heard it is a bit hard to use. :(

They'll walk you through it. Give it a try if you submit galleries several times a week.

Looking at the site, what's the idea behind the monthly payment istead of a one off payment?

Is there an updated site database or something? and that's what you're paying monthly for?

if dreamsubmitter is willing to teach you 1 on 1 with the program i would take the chance and learn the program from dreamsubmitter i recommend it to anyone out there who is still confused about the program and talk to nifield and i am sure he'll be glady to go step by step with it.
