PR, SERP, SEO, Algorytms & Porn???

Is porn generally just plain old porn no matter what the niche when it comes to SEO for SERP or PR and relevancy when calculating algorythms?
(Did I say that right?)

So, you got this teenie site, & you friggen link trade with all sorts of shit from anal sites to milf sites, throw in some blog directories & some adult search engines, & maybe even some cam sites & a few other things, & hey, before you know it, if you're lucky, in 2 or 3 months you have a PR4.
Now, is that PR4 relevant? How is that PR4 you so desire going to help your SERP if the relevancy is minimal? Well, now you have yourself maybe thousands of backlinks from hundreds of kinds of sites, but fuckit, they're all porn, aren't they?

I am no SEO expert, but I encounter so many different paradigms on this subject & it makes one wonder, what lay beneath the surface of ones motives.

I once believed that proper targeting to maintain relevancy and obtain SERP was effective SEO & would seek out to only hardlink trade with sites of same or closely similar niche to be so effective in all these & reach targeted audiences, however, often I hear from so many that porn is just porn & that it really does not matter, and so, because I wanted to be a nice guy, I would link trade from my teen site & hardlink to a milf site, but really, deep down I know I have sold out & done the wrong thing.

This is a coin that is often flipped & most of us choose one side of it.
Which side of it are you betting on.

My bet is that one should hardlink with only sites of same/similar niche, as it is more effective on SERP & I would much rather have thousands of back links from same niche sites that share similar keywords & secure targeted traffic rather than have generalizations of various non descript & secure unpredictable & less profitable traffic.

Discuss.

Maybe I just don't know what I am talking about. Do you?

Nope, it doesn't work like "porn = porn". Various niches have various keywords they often use, and through those, SEs determine relevancy. So "porn = porn" only works if you have roughly the same type of keywords - in other words, niche matters.
