Japanese 3D movies/cartoons
 

Here's the story: i come home after spending some time in a bar - had a couple of shots there, decide to relax/ have some rest, turn on TV and there is some Sci-Fi Japanese movie playing.
After about 10 minutes of not realizing what the fuck is going on - I finally notice that it is not a movie - it is a fucking 3D cartoon !!! I almost shit my pants ! I have never seen such stuff in my entire life !!! This 3D cartoon was so fucking real - i took me 10 minutes of close examination to actually find out it was not a movie, but a computer-made 3D cartoon. The actors were drawn so fine, that i thought they were real people, real actors !!! It was so freaking real - every move, every face twitch - dayyyym !!! The chick there was so freaking beautiful, so fine, so real looking - i couldn't believe how far the technology has gone.
This cartoon was about a planet, that had some conscious substance called "geiya' or "geya" and some bad dude ion a space station trying to destroy it - something like that.
Anyone seen it ?
Anyone knows about this type of cartoons ? Where to read up more about them ?

You need to get out more, go rent Final Fantasy the movie.

And ya, its awesome stuff... I have a couple of close friends that do that kinda stuff, wish I had stuck with it, stead of this farkin degree.

Are you talking about Final Fantasy? That's one of the latest and greatest in terms of 3D animation, although the movie itself (story, pacing) could have been better. Do a search on Yahoo! for "Final Fantasy movie" and you should get all the info you need.

Holy shit - it is Final Fantasy the movie, fuck that stuff IS AWESOME. I never seen it . Better go buy it..
