seeric 05-19-2006 01:25 PM

i found a wolf spider in my house last week. its like living in the damn jungle down here.

CyberHustler 05-19-2006 01:26 PM

WebairGerard 05-19-2006 01:26 PM

are they venomous? I thought the saying was red touch black, friend of jack, red touch yellow kill a fellow. Maybe I have my snakes mixed up. King Snake is the deadly one, milk snake the other?

StuartD 05-19-2006 01:27 PM

Did it just narrowly miss Kandah by 3 inches?

axelcat 05-19-2006 01:28 PM

I hate snakes

Splum 05-19-2006 01:30 PM

You are pretty damn luck that was a corral snake
http://www.angelfire.com/ga/fasdawg/corral.html

At first I thought it was a scarlet king snake
http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/herpetology...elapsoides.htm

But the patterns match the corral which are extremely DEADLY snakes.

Whoa crazy man! Brings that old saying to mind to remember difference between the coral snake which is poisonous and the king snake which is not. "Red touches yellow will kill a fellow, red touching black will scratch you Jack."

lazycash 05-19-2006 04:42 PM

Would have been interesting had you been swimming when it entered the pool.

czarina 05-19-2006 05:05 PM

I thought that it was if red touches black you better step back.

Tim 05-19-2006 05:06 PM

Damn..I think you would find something else floating if I was swimming with that

MMR Blaze 05-19-2006 06:14 PM

The easy way to tell for sure if it is the venomous type is to pick it up and have it bite you. Let me know if you need any other advice.

MaddCaz 05-19-2006 06:15 PM
