QuickBuck Processing News
Due to unfortunate, continuous and unexplainable fluctuations in conversions for those sites processing with Paycom EU we have been left with no option except to establish our own banking relationships in the Visa EU region.
We have replaced Paycom EU as our primary processor and now process all sites on our own merchant accounts. We believe that these changes will have a signifcant and positive impact on your conversion ratios. We feel that in order to offer the level of reliability and predictability that our affiliates are now demanding, that for the time being this decision is in our and our affiliates best interest. Paycom is a strong company, we have had a long and mutually prosperous relationship with them, and look forward to the possibility of working with them again in the future. |
I would love to see an update over the next few days to see if you experience any similiar fluctuations.

WG,
We wont be sharing any numbers about improvements in ratios. If you're sending to QB then you will be able to see the changes on your own account. We have too much respect and too long of a history with Paycom to post numbers. -QB |
Good luck with the new MC, let us know the numbers when you get them ;)

Congrats guys.
I hope to hear good things from your affiliates... Matt |
I wonder if any other big affialte programs will start using merchant accounts only, not like they don't have the volume to qualify. I do remember reading that ARS dropped their merchant account because paycom was acutally doing better for them.

I think Mutt is referring to a time when people played a LOT of billing games like cross sells that just werent ever disclosed and saying things were free but actually billing them full price anyways... some of the biggest sponsors who are now using 3rd party were running at 10-20% chargeback rates on their own merchant accounts.
|
great thread.. processing in house has seriously boosted our joins.
bigdog... we have a full time risk manager who does nothing but watch our accounts and manage them... and that person is BAD ASS beyond belief. |
good decision
|
Good to hear!

Interesting thread.
|
thats great for EU.. what about US processing?
or did i misunderstand something? |

If thats true i can see more people getting their own merchant account and just cross selling to themselves. |
congrats. It should copnvert great for you guys and your webmasters :thumbsup

EU processing means that the processing (banking) relationship is in the EU, and not in the US. It has nothing to do with how US or EU ->surfers<- are being billed. It's merely a jurisdiction issue, i.e. what company (and thus what VISA region) is performing the transaction.
