Should people that start STOOPID "should MetaformX be banned" threads be banned ???

Fact: MetaformX was one of the more annoying POS on this board since PORNSUITE ...

Why is it that only AFTER somebody gets banned, people start getting all "righteous" and shit ?!? (AaronM, Gary, Boneprone ... and the list goes on ...)

I mean... I do realize that this board was MEANT to be a board different from the rest ... just look at the title of it. But have you seen how we get talked about on all the other boards in the past 2 months ??? They all think we are a joke !! :(

yeah... I guess. But I still think people take shit way too seriously around here.... the problems start when people don't know when to recognize that they're pushing past a limit.... it's utterly amazing that I've never been banned here.... I'm sure Lens probly considered it more than a few times.... but I got a pretty good handle on when it's still fun and when it's time to shut my fucking mouth. Some people don't have that part of their brain in working order.

anyway..... this is all way too fucking deep for me this morning....
I just think that people jump to the "BAN THE FUCKER!" as a solution way too often. Mindfucking someone into submission can be a much worse death than banishment ya know.... :winkwink:

I don't get it. This board has an ignore feature. I have never used it so I am not sure how it works, but I am under the impression that if you put someone on ignore you will not see their post. Will someone clue me in if this is not correct?

Since I am of the opinion that 95% of the posts on this board is just BS why should one BS'er be banned and another BS'er not banned?

I am not a fan of MetaformX and the way he jumped in on so many threads to turn the thread into a MetaformX thread and just stupid "oneliners" (other members do the very same thing)but if I am correct isn't this what the ignore feature is for?

It is Lensman board so he can freely ban anyone that he wants to ban without cause.

For other members to be frequently calling for the ban of another member, to me, is nonsense. Use the ignore button.

I say if anything maybe MetaformX will find a more constructive way to use his free time, instead of going way overboard on hijacking and creating threads here for a little while. Personally I found some of his posts funny, but his involvement in that last "wife and baby" thread was just really a bit too much and in poor taste. He was trying just a bit too hard imo. I think somehow in the big picture of this event, Lensman just did him a favor.

Then again, I really just don't give a fuuuuuuuuck.

When you have someone on ignore their post is replaced with a blank slot and a link asking you "View This Members Post he/she is on your ignore list"

Only aggrivating problem is when you have one of these people on ignore and the only time you see what they say is what someone quotes them.

Quotes even though from Ignored members are still viewable. So sometimes it does no good to ignore because people quote Metas and others entire posts when replying...
