Anybody of you has ever used rankyou.com for advertising: Any good or bad experiences with them? Yes, I know: They are probably spamming ;-)

I am bumping this old thread because I would like to ask the same question:

Has anyone here bought ads with RankYou.com and how was the response? Did you get any complaints from people on their mailing list?

They say they operate a doubly opt in newsletter called Sex-E-Bits, which has over a million subscribers.

Anyone have opinions on this company?

no but i get regular daily spams from them.

SO:

"if the advertising was so good, then people would use them again and again, obviously most people advertise once and think never again, so they are constantly seeking new advertisers"

admitedly once u have mailed a list once it is not exactly worth doing the same advert again, but it is worth doing special promotions etc and most people own more than one site/product.

basically im saying, if advertising there was any use then they would not be spamming
