Essential Webmaster Tools?
 

I have a couple different programs and tools that I use when working, like TextPad and Photoshop. What do you use for your work that you couldn't do without? What types of tools or programs do you think are essential for webmasters to have or use?

Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop CS, Premier Pro 2.

WordPad is another program I couldnt live without.

The basic stuff, textpad, photoshop, fireworks, eudora, trillian. Nothing 'fancy' or out of the ordinary.

Firefox, ICQ, Thunderbird,Adobe PS, EditPlus, WS_FTP, Ulead, Compupic Pro, MS Excel

I dunno about essential for everyone but I fully recommend WeBuilder if you code anything for the web. Cuts my time in half. :thumbsup

i use vi when i am editing on server, notepad, outlook, my cell phone, and a couple forums i use for information

UltraEdit, NotTab Pro, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Pixie, Domain Punch Pro, ActivePerl and Apache, Firefox (and IE if you must), Winzip, WSFTP Pro or TurboFTP, Ember Max, Arles and whatever programming tools are familiar to enabling the writing of other tools and net-related apps.

Backup using the most relevant progs for whatever types of backups are needed - Acronis, NH Backup, SecondCopy.

Directory Opus is handy for replacing Windows Explorer.

PS.. And a URL bookmarking proggy to keep bookmarks out of browsers - something like URL Address Book or Linkman
