Has anyone used escrow.com for transactions?

Hey all,

I was just wondering has anyone here used Escrow for large transactions over say $10k. I am about to use it for the first time for a massive transaction and are to recieve the money but how does it all work?

Also how do i get the money, i have a Visa debit card as im based in the UK would the money go straight into that account. Also is there options of a bank transfer wire or something?

Thanks

Bump. I need to know as well. I'm thinking of using it for a fairly expensive (for me at least) domain purchase.

It works great because the money stays in escrow until both parties are happy

yeah, the buyer pays escrow, and escrow sits on that money until all terms of the transaction are satisified by both parties and then escrow pays the seller. It has worked well for me... really streamlines the process and leaves less room for errors/problems.

As for how you get paid by escrow, there are quite a few options... paying directly into a visa debit card, I don't know about though.

I've used it before for a couple of large domain sales and it's worked great. You can see updates on their site as the transaction status changes, which is nice when you want to track the status of the domain.

No surprises and everything always went as expected :thumbsup

How do you recieve the money? Like what method do you decide to choose?

Cheers

I recieve a check, by choice though. I believe you can do wire/direct deposit/ and check.

Lots of my clients use them for major domain transactions. They do a great job.

Haven't had a single problem yet.

:thumbsup

Escrow.com is legit I am currently doing a large sale and have done a very large sale in the past with escrow with no problems at all. :)

Always use escrow when you are selling something that is worth a lot of money.

All banking details - contact your bank to ask for a copy of their wire details if wire is coming from US.

I've used Escrow.com and money was sitting in my account after 1 day of them updating that the payout was done.
