ePassporte: "Bank Withdrawls Now Take 7 Business Days"

I called in to see where my bank withdrawl was that I pushed out earlier this week, and thats what they tell me. When I asked for a reason, the parrot on the other end simply repeated herself "They no longer take three business days, they now take seven."

Hot damn, thats really slow. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure that if you submit your batch files to your ACH processor with an effective date of the next day, then deposits move in one day provided both days are business days and provided the batch file is in before the cutoff time at the federal reserve.

So they just want to slow this down as much as possible. Unbeliveable. Who was the guy who is trying to launch a competiting site and when is he gonna have it up? I so cannot wait.

Our accounting department is working on speeding up the transfers by working with the ACH processor we use, the reason that you were told 7 days is that it can take up to 7 days before the transfer is completed.

Just like all the other similiar services, they're starting to suck after a while.

How long before they start declining adult-oriented transactions like Paypal?

7 days is ridiculous in this electronic age. What sort of limbo are the funds trapped in for an entire week? An epassporte investment fund?

If they're smart... Yes

GatorB 05-19-2006 10:19 AM

Yes I've noticed it's been that way for awhile. Used to be if I transfer money on a Monday, by Wed or Thursday at the latest it was in my bank. Now it's more like the next Monday

Screaming 05-19-2006 10:31 AM

wow.. lots of changes at epass...

madawgz 05-19-2006 11:26 AM

why is everyone hating epassporte!

candyflip 05-19-2006 11:33 AM

That shouldn't take that long. I just had one go thru with Paypal and it took just over 24 hours. I was a bit amazed by that one myself, but 7 business days is just pure bullshit.

Luc Lonely 05-19-2006 11:45 AM

paypal for life . I love pay pal . and sportbrokers

I used to like Epassporte, lately this and some other problems are pissing me off.

yea, same here, I request a transfer on monday, on wed the money is in the account already, with epass I'm lucky to get it the following monday :(

Well, ePass said on ICQ that they send the transaction to thier ACH processor as soon as we click the button, so its thier ACH processor that sucks. I'd like to know who they are using so that I never enter into a business arrangement with them.

Seriously, 7 working days is way too fucking slow. You all could get money to us faster by printing paper checks and mailing them first class. Speaking of which, why dosent ePass allow us to request a real check via Fedex for a fee? Alot of programs do it and PayPal does it (not by overnight, but they do regular checks)? That would eliminate all this wishy washy crap, cause then someone has either sent the check or they havent and a simple track online shows where the blame lies real quick.

Seriously ePass, who are using for ACH and please get rid of them because they suck if thats whats being allowed to happen.
