As you may have heard, DCM has secured the contracts for Digital Playground and Wicked Pictures so we need another strong programmer/developer, a graphics artist, an entry level graphics artist, and a content manager for full time in-house positions. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in current Internet standards, including web browser compatibility issues.
- Familiarity with shopping cart, join forms and credit card processing products and technologies.
- Strong understanding and practice of software development process, architecture and design patterns. Must have the ability to design, code, and deploy solutions that fulfill the stated vision.
- An organized approach to managing your own time and effort. Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Awareness of your strengths and weaknesses with an interest in professional improvement.
-Develop and maintain documentation


APPLICATIONS:
-Ability to design, write and debug functionality in AJAX, HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
-Ability to design, write and debug server side applications in Perl or PHP.
-Ability to write SQL statements
-A Plus, proficiency in LAMP, FLASH actionscript programming & xml, flash control interface for audio and video content, dhtml integration, rubyonrails and Apache & Unix/Linux preferred.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Gain and maintain familiarity with the structure and functionality of our platforms and back-end systems.
- Assist in identifying and refining requirements for our platforms.
- Attend functional specification review meetings and integrate modifications to the specification as required.
- Code and test applications based upon functional specifications, and make minor modifications or enhancements to existing applications on an as-needed basis.
- Perform integration testing as required to ensure the quality and performance of our front-end and back-end systems prior to deployments.
- Deploy applications, modifications, and enhancements to our production environment and provide maintenance and support as required.
- Ensure the viability of our independent development and test environment, including servers, network, and VPN connections.
- Maintain awareness of the latest technological advances as they pertain to our ongoing business and our vision.
- Other duties as assigned.
