New GFY Feature
 

Starting tomorrow afternoon GFY will be adding a new feature to help make GFY more entertaing than ever.

After every new post and reply by me "boneprone" on GFY you will be notified via email of its post, and thread url.

We have collected the emails in the database here at GFY and we have taken a poll in last week as to who "YOU" felt was the most "entertaining" person here at GFY.

Naturally I won.

In an effort to get past members to particpate here at GFY along with current active members to visit more, we feel by sending email notifications to EVERY member everytime the most "entertaining" person posts (me aka boneprone) it will help
boost particpation and make things all the more "fun" here at GFY.

I hope you enjoy the NEW GFY ERA.

If you would like to add a friend's email to our database who may be intresed in GFY please let us know and we can add him to our emial list, notifing him of every post and reply i make here at GFY.

We feel keeping you up to date with the latest boneprone news, replies, and information is a valuable addition all members will enjoy.

On avarage I only post 20 times a day, so you will by no means be flooded with emails.

Set it up so that each email has to be confirmed in order for people to participate on the board. I don't think having to confirm 20 or 30 separate emails a day is too much to ask.

Can we all give you our home phone #'s? In case we are in the middle of bathroom hygiene or something, so you can alert us immediately to your new posts. Maybe the phone company will give you a custom ring alert so there is no confusion when you call.

I had a special phone line installed. Everytime you post now, call me on the Bone Phone.

You can simply click at the bottom of the email that you want to unsubscribe.

(fyi: by unsubscribing you will be automatically removed from the boneprone emial post alert and automatically signed up for the Amp, and the bull dog emial list as a courtsey to you)

I'm only really interested in recieving these if they are kept short and broken down from 1 email to several smaller emails per post. Perhaps 1 email sent to notify us you've made a post, then a 2nd email with the body of the post, then a 3rd email with a link to the post in case we want to respond. Another email letting us know everytime someone quotes one of your posts would be excellent also, preferably also broken down into 3-4 smaller emails. Don't forget most of us here have very short attention spans so keep those emails brief! Otherwise an awesome idea :thumbsup

Please make sure to stuff the emails with that Klez virus stuff to fit in with the other great emails we get these days. We just love our popboxes to be overflowing with great news!
