CyberHustler 05-18-2006 06:41 PM

WarChild 05-18-2006 06:41 PM

1 Hour a day, 6 days a week.

SomeCreep 05-18-2006 06:45 PM

No way. Exercise is too tiring.

GiveIntoMe 05-18-2006 06:46 PM

monday wednesday friday I go to the gym, spending 1 hour doing weights and about 21 mins of that on the tread mill. I'm pleased with my progress :) :) :)

candyflip 05-18-2006 06:46 PM

I posted this in another thread, but I do at least 45 minutes on my ball everyday. Work that core!

NoWhErE 05-18-2006 06:47 PM

I do about an hour of cardio every 2 days or so. Then weights.

I'd like to get an exercise machine for my home though, anyone want to sponsor me? :)

sicus 05-18-2006 06:49 PM

with that ball exercise, ive seen a friend of mine go from kinda chubby in the stomach to pretty damn nice in just a couple months, problem is, stretch marks. now i could use the same routine and if so, ill probably end up the same way. any advice on how to avoid that?

What type of build are you?

I use my ball for code, climb fake rocks 1-2 times a week for a few hours and swim 2500 yards twice a week. I'm not a fan of weights of circuit training.

If anyone is into swimming, hit me up for some workouts. There's nothing like swimming. It's the pefect exercise for any body.

fuzebox 05-18-2006 06:53 PM

When I'm good I go in every day, then I slip... I'm on 3 weeks of no gym now :(

When I lived in Vancouver I ran or rollerbladed daily, but here I'm restricted to treadmills so there's not a lot of motivation... I love running but not indoors.

biftek 05-18-2006 06:54 PM

does getting up to make coffee count as a work out ?

Why would you get stretch marks from using the ball??? Does it cause stretch marks?? :helpme Or is it because your overweight and will have a lot of sking hanging over?

I'm personally not fat. I used to fit in size 00 jeans, but now they are getting tight so I need a size 3, but by no means am I fat, I better not get any stretch marks!!!!!!

iWeb_Iya 05-18-2006 07:04 PM

I can teach anyone to swim in a few hours. Not only the basics, but give them the confidence as well. Lots of adults who can't swim just unsure of themselves and just haven't had the proper instruction.

I don't remember not knowing how to swim, being the spawn of competitive swimmers...I was thrown in the pool only a few months old. And lived there for years.

Swimming is the best possible aerobic and physical workout with the lowest possible stress on the rest of your body.

YOu know you want some:

I have that one too. I love it but it can get really boring. I have recently added tennis in the mix. I suck but spend alot of time chasing the balls around the court so at least I am doing something.

HushMoney 05-18-2006 08:56 PM

I like to shake it up. I mainly do the Precor low impact cardio machine, but i'll throw in some Basketball (unfortunately I dislocated my shoulder 3 months ago playing) Boxing is the best tho', can't get a better workout than Boxing!!!

I was certified to lifeguard and teach swimming right around the dotcom hype... Got a job as a programmer and didn't look back. I miss it, never get a chance to swim nowadays unless i've got a surfboard with me :)

latinasojourn 05-18-2006 11:27 PM

yes, i ride my bike 8 miles/day 7 days a week on the same course, and in winter or very bad weather bring it inside, mount it on a magura trainer, and do 33 mins with a timer.

at night i do 15 minutes of free weights while watching letterman (12 lb barbells.)

i am on a carefully controlled mostly vegetarian diet, i am 5'9", 149 lbs. and have a flat belly and a 31 in waist.

i am age 56, and married to a hard body 20 year old girl. (2nd wife).

exercise is good for you.

Chrome 05-19-2006 12:56 AM

not every day..maybe 5 times a week.

E$_manager 05-19-2006 03:21 AM

only 15 and not every day. THere are mountains here and my cardio is a hard one.

David - PG 05-19-2006 04:50 AM

Anybody doing 1 hour cardio a day is on a professional level and deseves all the respect in the world. Consistency is key of course. I see some people in the gym on the cardio machines day in day out and my hats are off to them.

Top level bodybuilders usually do 1 hour a day off season and 90-120 minutes a day in their pre-contest preparation routine.

Everybody hates cardio, it drains away your energy first, then your mind. Your soul goes last.

sexybabe 05-19-2006 05:18 AM

i will do atleast 45 minutes

Well Dunn 05-19-2006 05:36 AM

I do between 30 and 45 minutes of running 6-7 days a week. I lift 4 days a week, and started doing abs daily just recently. One of the nice things about working for yourself is the ammount of time you can devote to things like this.

Choppa 05-19-2006 05:46 AM

im buff as and get some cardio in when i drive to the shop to buy some coke cola :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Abithefiend 05-19-2006 05:49 AM

I work out for an hour, daily. Except weekends.
Weekends are for getting drunk and munching kebabs at 3am!

Ross 05-19-2006 06:22 AM
