EDTV is ENHANCED definition therfore it's not HIGH definition

EDTV is 480p whereas HDTV is at least 720p

So yeah you'll get a much better picture from cable or satelite than a regular TV, but not near as good as HDTV. Playing regular DVDs though won't show any significant difference compared to a HDTV.

EDTV is nothing spectacular....its barely better than regular tv....

HDTV is 720p/1080i/1080p etc....

I just got a Samsung HD...I fucking love it!

Just got the HD cable box last friday, and I have to say that The Discovery Channel looks AWESOME! Better then any DVD.

Also Xbox 360 looks amazing in 1080i :winkwink:

Deffinately go with HD.

Thanks for the input! I went with the Panasonic HD.
Can't wait for it to get here! I wonder how awesome games will look on it?
This is it

If we gave away a TV like this what would be a fair system to run the promotion? Each join you send to Sex On The Side Club (EntertainmentCash.com) gets you one entry ticket and we randomly pull a ticket for a winner?

Do you try programs because of promo contests like that?

Thanks!

there's a pretty damn huge difference in quality between sdtv and edtv, but hdtv is still superior hands down

Wound up going w/ the Sharp Aquos. When we saw most of the popular HDTVs side by side, the Aquos was so much crisper. It's about half the cost now.....You should consider it
