Private Reserve should be better, but hell for $60 to get all this meat is a good deal

Thanks guys - I love Omaha steaks but they're too expensive most of the time - this is a great price :)

I dont do business with spammers. And come on, if you want a real steak, go down to Texas or out west and buy the meat fresh from the kill. Fuck, by the time they get thier steaks to you they are already several days old and the flavor suffers bigtime.

The steaks are sooo great and the cheesecake is even better.

The best steak houses I've ever eaten at, Seattle and Winnetoba, had their own exclusive private ranches and they were far away from the restaurants.

Best filets ever! It's all about tenderness and flavor comes from how they prepare it. ie they dry age and then marinate to flavor. That and it's the highest quality from the get go!:thumbsup

Well sure, you can buy LOTS better steaks than Omaha. But at the price this package is going for, it's perfect for a "let's throw something on the grill" summer. I ordered 2 packages :)

i met my neighbor today drinking coffee on the lawn and we got to talking about what he did for a living....hes a door to door salesman for steaks .... hes like omaha steaks door to door...Makes like 300 a day in profit....im thinking ab9otu trying it a couple days a month....i would just have to learn how to sell in person at their door....and the catch is you have to buy like 200 dollars worth of meat (wich you would pay 400 at the store for the pack)

I think Omaha steaks have a funny after taste. I much prefer fresh USDA choice steaks fresh from the butcher, don't you?

I've ordered from them before.. The quality is good, but it's more expensive than ordering fresh meat from your local butcher. What sucks about OS are their telemarketers calling twice a week hoping you'll make another order..

Maybe I got a bad order but they were bad and I had to throw much it out.
