Aside from diet.. do you just do countless regular sit-ups? Or do you use machines or weights to do high intensity 10-15 reps...? And how many times per week.. etc..?

It was a very strenous proces...

First I warmed up by walking to the store...

Second, broke a sweat locating, then retrieving the 6-pack.

Third, paid and walked home.

Fourth, destroyed all of my progress by drinking said 6 pack, and causing a rinse/repeat situation.

Cardio, cardio, cardio. You can have the best abs in the world, but a layer of fat will cover them up completely.

Diet, diet, diet. Eat right, it makes all the difference.

Gym 3 times per week, abs every session. Different routines, many super sets and what not.

What is there to accomplish in working out everyday?

it's not the number of crunches you do thats important, it's what excerises you do and how you do them.....diet will be a huge factor as well

I used to have a 6 pack.

Now I got this friggin' case of 24... damn computers!


I try to eat healthy and I exercice alot, but I've always had a hard time getting rid of my thick layer of fat.

I'm in good shape, super good shape. I just have kinda like baby fat on me.

It's a balance of diet and workout.. mainly diet. It's been said before, but you can have abs of steel... but that thin layer of fat will hide it all.

I don't have a six pack anymore, but I am getting back into that kind of shape. I do about 200 situps with every work out, which includes weights. I go about 6 times a week, 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hour.

I also do lower carbs, smaller meals more often (5 to 6 times a day). My problem right now is getting the lower abs to show. But that is the issue for a lot of people!

I used to do a ton more cardio, playing ball, etc. But since my acl tear, I can't play basketball so I am lifting weights again. Funny, the weights burn more calories than the 2 hour basketball and surfing sessions do. I am already in way better shape and look a lot better.

Actually I used to think the same as you. BUT then ~ 2.5 months ago I started working out and although I never was a fat bastard, I feel that it has really changed my entire life. The feeling you get from excercise is fantastic!

I feel fresher, have a better work ethic and feel like i'm able to think of new ideas and apply them a whole lot better. My whole outlook on life is alot more positive and the people around me have noticed this too.

It's basically a good way to give yourself a great mental boost along with nice physical gains :)

I benched 90kgs the other day (yes not a massive amount but a PB for me) and I felt like I could tackle the world. Same day I had another PB - legpressed 360kgs and thinking of it now gives me a lift.

Infact - i'm off to do some work on my datto! :thumbsup
