GFYers with a six-pack... how did you get it?
So I'm talking to 2 or 3 of you.. :winkwink:
Aside from diet.. do you just do countless regular sit-ups? Or do you use machines or weights to do high intensity 10-15 reps...? And how many times per week.. etc..? |
It was a very strenous proces...
First I warmed up by walking to the store... Second, broke a sweat locating, then retrieving the 6-pack. Third, paid and walked home. Fourth, destroyed all of my progress by drinking said 6 pack, and causing a rinse/repeat situation. |

What is there to accomplish in working out everyday?

I used to have a 6 pack.
Now I got this friggin' case of 24... damn computers! I try to eat healthy and I exercice alot, but I've always had a hard time getting rid of my thick layer of fat. I'm in good shape, super good shape. I just have kinda like baby fat on me. |
It's a balance of diet and workout.. mainly diet. It's been said before, but you can have abs of steel... but that thin layer of fat will hide it all.

I don't have a six pack anymore, but I am getting back into that kind of shape. I do about 200 situps with every work out, which includes weights. I go about 6 times a week, 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hour.
I also do lower carbs, smaller meals more often (5 to 6 times a day). My problem right now is getting the lower abs to show. But that is the issue for a lot of people! I used to do a ton more cardio, playing ball, etc. But since my acl tear, I can't play basketball so I am lifting weights again. Funny, the weights burn more calories than the 2 hour basketball and surfing sessions do. I am already in way better shape and look a lot better. |
