I've had insomnia the past few days...
damn..i've been having a hard time sleeping....the worst part is actually trying to go to sleep....i think i'm gonna go out tommorrow and drink..lol....that usually puts me to sleep...i havent drank for about 2 months and think that might be the cause of me not being able to go to sleep.

try to do some exercises/warm-ups to make your body tired and drink a glass of fresh milk.

AMBIEN either one controll release or regular.
I've had insomnia threw out my whole life. Ambien helps me sleep great. Alcohol will help you get to sleep ,but won't give you a restfull sleep. Good Luck I know it sucks also try reading a book. |

Bring a pad and pen to bed. When something comes to mind that is bothering you and keeping you up - write it down. Tomorrow cross as much of the stuff off your list as you can. Alcohol and pills are not going to get rid of whatever is bothering you.
And don't excercise 4hrs prior to going to bed, it will just make things worse. |

I have suffered with insomnia quite a bit over the last 5 years and I have tried almost everything!! I smoked weed, had subscription ambien, exercised, sex, etc. I recently found these veggie capsules at the Vitamin Shoppe called "Sleep Naturally". They contain valerian, 5-HTP, and melatonin. They work very well with no side effects as far as I can tell.
Insomnia is a horrible thing. I used to just lay in bed and be so upset that I could not relax meanwhile my boyfriend was snoring away. I would actually get mad at him for falling asleep before me!!! haha!! Crissy |
drink sleepytime tea about a 1/2 hour before bed. many friends recommended it to me and it works great. all herbal, no side effects. use 2 tea bags to knock the fuck out. jerk off too. that always makes you boys tired afterwards:winkwink:

Valerian root is nice. You can put a few drops in a cup of tea, or you can do it like I do and drop some in a beer.
