baddog 05-17-2006 08:58 PM

lol Fascisim at its best...

BradM 05-17-2006 09:00 PM

Awesome. I love it. Threads with all out insults, gay bashing, racism etc are left open. But a thread about a piece of shit company being exposed is closed and swept away.

Fucking gfy :)

Sly 05-17-2006 09:02 PM

This has happened a couple times if I recall correctly. Maybe they should start screening sponsors better? Nah, take the money and run.

Doctor Dre 05-17-2006 09:02 PM

lol
Things like that hurt the board. I don't know if anybody understand that over there...

NTSS 05-17-2006 09:07 PM

A clear case of "money talks bullshit walks" ?

Tempest 05-17-2006 09:08 PM

You would think that now that adult.com is part of Playboy they would think a little more... Like by locking a thread that's outing people promoting RansomWare, it appears that they support it as well.. Which can reflect badly on Playboy.

crockett 05-17-2006 09:15 PM

Was funny their sticky thread became unstuck once they became the hot topic.

baddog 05-17-2006 09:17 PM

I think your answer is here: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showpo...4&postcount=71

You made an accusation based on innuendo.

BradM 05-17-2006 09:19 PM

Just proves yet AGAIN gfy/adult.com are run by a bunch of toolsheds who got lucky with everything.

CDSmith 05-17-2006 09:21 PM

GFY should adopt the position that if an advertiser becomes the focus of attack they are on their own, PERIOD. No refund, no apology.

Advertisers should be responsible for their own programs and their own PR. Hell, advertise here all you want, but if your company is pulling some nasty subversive shit then be prepared to get called on it I say.

No reason to lock these kinds of threads whatsoever. You pays your money - you takes your chances. If your shit is tight then the Francks of the world won't have reason to take shots at you.

I think that is the policy if what I heard about the Guba incident are accurate.

Then thread-locking should not be part of the equation.

What accusation? They all promote it. What innuendo? the TOS clearly indicates they are RansomWare.

I had the last post in that one. Maybe some guide lines are in order. While the thread had the usual GFY name calling, it was addressing a topic key to the industry.

I understand about the paying sponsor.... Maybe a warning from a mod before a shut down of a thread???

Tempest 05-17-2006 09:48 PM

Symantec considers it a virus.
