I think it looks good.

Very nice, although i have to say that it's a bit hard to make out that it says "iAlien" - try it out on a few people first, but don't tell them what it says.

I would recommend to keep away from the Photoshop effects and such. Keep it to vectors. Like the outline of the woman, not sure about the star or the writing.

design your logo opposite of how you would normally approach design

Looks pretty common. Try designing something without using your computer.

I think you will have problems with the thin lines when you print the logo small... and maybe change the "e"... other than that... I think you are on the right track...

Remember, you want to use this logo for a while... so it is forth to spend time on it... don't get frustrated and don't take my comments the wrong way!

edit: keep the word alien, but definitely change that "e"

Not doing it for me, sorry. The "e" is a problem, but how to fix it is a bigger problem. Do you have more concepts to select from?

the logo is quite fine. it's just the letter e that you need to fix.
