Maybe the US Goverment bombed Pearl Harbor to give us an excuuse to join in on WWII.

The United States was attacked. It's plain and simple. The people who attacked us do not deny anything. They've said in rather simple terms "we did this". This statement alone pretty much clears the US Government from having any part of this.
