I've been using icq longer than that and I've seen icq messages not go through for weeks, I've seen some not go through for network problems, I've seen messages not go through from people not on your list, I've seen messages not go through that have links in them, I've seen messages not go through because one of the two didn't have a secure connection option, I've seen messages not go through because they were on a mobile....

shall I continue?

if the person hasn't added me (or I haven't added him) he gets only like 1/3 of my messages, at the begining you have no idea how pissed off I was with the people, I thought I was talking with retards half of the time, until I realized it was the ICQ acting up ;)

Thats not true :( If a user is not added, ICQ semmingly randomly doesnt let them through. I had it happen last week with a guy where he wasn't getting my reply which had no URL or anything in it. All it had was a 4 or 5 word text reply. I knew something was wrong when he started saying "Well, do you know the answer" after I'd told him twice. Then I added him, and pasted him all my replies.
