Did you just hear the most absurd thing ever? (on Fox News)

They were talking to a woman who had an alligator force it's way into her house. She and (I think she said her) mother had tried to beat it back with a shovel and trying to hold a dog door shut with a pole but it kept coming after them. She finally ended up shooting it. Keep in mind, this was INSIDE her house. She told Fox News she got a warning ticket for "hunting without a license".:1orglaugh

Screaming 05-17-2006 08:12 AM

CheneyRumsfeld 05-17-2006 08:17 AM

self defense is a crime

E$_manager 05-17-2006 08:23 AM

what else could she do.
She had to defend herself

E$_manager 05-17-2006 08:28 AM

what did she do with the body? Fox news didn't notice?

Fox New is just the new Jerry Springer.. They come of with the most off the wall shit. Probably pay people to tell stupid stories like this.

LMAO!

Unrelated but just as absurd. Didn't a guy go to jail in Texas for swearing in a public place?

I seriously doubt that. I have sworn in public in front of officers before and never even gotten a ticket.

I'm 100% sure it was in the states, perhaps not in Texas. It would have bout ~4 or 5 years ago from memory..

doing a bit of a search now

I live in Florida and 3 people died last week from gators, people are freaking out and calling 911 everytime they see a gator in a lake or whatever, there are over a million in Florida and the news is asking people to stop calling 911. The lady that shot the gator was just on the news. she said is was after her dog so she shot it and she did get a warning LOL.

they look very friendly to me. anybody know where I can buy one for my little cousins BD? he's turning 6 next month

WDchris 05-17-2006 09:44 AM

it all depends on who you like better. the alligator or the woman.

pornguy 05-17-2006 09:51 AM

The thing that people dont realize about a gator, is that they WILL go after small children, and pets. And sometimes large pets. they dont call labs gatorbait for nothing. Labs love to swim.

As for the guy that gave the woman the ticket for the hunting thing. He should be shot. Even if they letf out of the story that the gatro left, and she went after it.

SilentKnight 05-17-2006 10:08 AM

Next thing we'll hear is a lawyer sueing the woman on behalf of the dead gator's offspring.
