So i went to my regular poker game at a local casino and cashed in $300 on a $300-$500 buy in no limit table and cashed out $2800....yes had a nice win but what surprises me is that how some people were joining in and cashing in $500 and dropping like flies? I dont understand how people that dont really know how to play can join big tables and drop that kind of money? wow...play the lower tables if you want to learn poker :-)

Good job man. It cracks me up too, because everyone thinks they're a pro now because they saw the WSOP on ESPN.

I wear a hat & sunglasses when i goto free tourneys around my area...we're all playing for a $50 gift certificate (although i play for fun) & people take it so seriously....so i sit there & pretend i know what im doing...puffing a cigar, with my 1980's miami vice sunglasses on

they all take me seriously too, its great...i've only been playing a couple months

I did pretty well up in Geo's suite at the toronto show 20$ to buy in and I walked away with 1st place 160$

Exactly...its amazing...love it when a player says " ah, i have k high " when calling hundreds of dollars all the way through to the river...
