Sponsors: Why do you use screen caps on tours?
 

I'm looking at the tour of a newer sponsor and my jaw about dropped. All of the content is totally exclusive, all videos, but the tour was using screen cap content. It was blurry, didn't look right, and was obviously of a lesser quality. My impression as a surfer was "man I hope it isn't like that inside."

Now I know that everybody doesn't have access to actual pictures from the shoots, referring to any mass produced content. But for those of you who have your content produced for you, why don't you shell out the extra $100-200 per scene and have actual quality stills shot? Not only will this make the tour look better, I can only imagine it would improve join ratios, plus it adds more content for your members AND it gives your affiliates additional material to promote with.

That makes 3 good reasons to spend $100-200 extra per scene. Are those 3 reasons really not worth it?
