New member asks: Who's the best Credit Card processor for adults?

Hi guys, :helpme
First of all, I would like to say that you all seem very competitive to me...congrats!

Who do you think is the best and reliable processor for adult content?

Keep up the good work :thumbsup

The best is your own account.

Third party would be a combo of CCbill and Paycom.

megatgpdotnet 05-16-2006 03:50 PM

I'd go with Verotel or CCbill

PanaBarna 05-16-2006 04:36 PM

Thanks for the advice guys...

I will reason to guess you would not qualify yet, like most do not. You need to be doing a crap load in monthly volume. Yet to get specs hit up netbilling.com

RogerV10 05-16-2006 04:40 PM

Ibill hands down.

Depends on what kind of sites, volume and business setup you have.

jimb 05-16-2006 05:28 PM

www.ccbill.com

Netbilling is certainly the best source for having and maintaining a merchant account.

Choppa 05-17-2006 09:37 AM

it really does depend on what type of adult your getting into...ie if selling say sex toys or say adult DVDs you cant use CCBill and would have to go with Epoch or your own merchant account

It really depends what you are after? make sure to do your research though and check out these:

CCBill - www.ccbill.com
Netbilling ? www.netbilling.com
Paycom - www.paycom.net

See what each of them offers you and go from there.

ajrocks 05-17-2006 09:41 AM

IBILL rocks! try them out

PanaBarna 05-17-2006 10:03 AM

Ibill...hmm..... anybody else could back this up?

You rule guys....thanks.... :thumbsup

tony286 05-17-2006 10:05 AM

LOL.... nope and iBill can't either...

You have to be specific on what you are selling.. every billing company has limits to what they can sell and have a niche in which they do really well....

More information narrows the field and get you going in the right direction

PanaBarna 05-17-2006 11:57 AM

Thanks for the advice Nad :thumbsup It's an adult site; pics, videos, bios, etc...monthly Vol 80K...
Looking for new options..... once again thanks for all you comments, guys.

Stick with the established and experienced companies would be my advice for somebody ?new?. Netbilling, CCBill, and Paycom have been around for a VERY long time. They also post here and on other boards. Also, they take an active role in the industry.

Nice group of suggestions so far .. here are some merchant account parameters I'll throw in for educational purposes.

If you are US based:
PRODUCT SALES (including toys, vids etc) you can get a very low discount rate account with minimal trouble. The main thing they will look at are credit ratings.

LIVE CAMS/audio/video text or streaming you are limited to about 2 banks. One has a minimum volume limitation of 100k

NO live cams/audio/video text or streaming and volumes less than 50k you have another bank option available.

NON US based:

If you have under 40k in monthly volume you are limited for direct account options. Be prepared to offer 6 months past trans history that includes chargeback numbers. They'll judge on that as well as company history and stability.

If you have over 40K in monthly volume your bank options expand dramatically and the higher the volume the more thats evident. You can usually choose from several different countries/jurisdictions with discount rates normally starting in the 5%'s and going up depending on the specifics of your company.
There are even 'no reserve' options for adult membership sites out there ;)

Now if you happen to run gambling or pharmacutical sites you REALLY should contact me as I have some excellent solutions available for you too! *smile*

Having your own account is the best way.
On the other hand CCBill plus Paycom and Verotel

PanaBarna 05-17-2006 03:17 PM

Vicky, you are a monster, nice job :thumbsup... I have already talked to you :winkwink:

BTW guys, I've heard the worst things about Ibill=Etelegate.

Thanks for all your help :thumbsup

No new info here, but, anyways:

If you can swing your own account, go with Netbilling.

I've worked with a few different third parties, and I would say CCBill stands out above the rest by a margin: great admin panel, great support... and you can always find Sean at the shows for a few drinks. :-)

BucksMania 05-11-2007 03:47 PM

paycom and ccbill

NetBilling with your own merchant account is our top choice. Epoch/Paycom and CCBill are also top notch. :thumbsup

Thanks for this information guys.I know it's an old thread bumped, but i was going to post the same sort of question.
And after getting these names etc and contacting them all, seems like i have no choice at this stage but ccbill for a site i have almost completed.
Unless you have another suggestion..??
But as follows
Netbilling...Wont unless i have 6 months worth of processing history and do $50k min
Paycom.net..wont unless Us or European company. And i gather epoch would be the same as them.
Verotel...still awaiting for someone to contact be back
Simplemerchantaccounts..awaiting on them also..
So I assume that's about all that will handle adult sites...???

cheers

Once you get your volume and history we will be happy to help. Thisw is not our requirement. It is the bank's. Also, this does not apply for adult products or maintream.
