Ibiza -- who has been there?
Has anyone been there? I'm looking for tips about good hotels, restaurants, and entertainment.
TIA! Steve Lightspeed |
Went there for the whole summer about 7 years ago. You wont need resturants and hotels, but book a holliday for when you get home, you will need a rest
|
omg steve you have no idea lol..
see if you can find a villa to rent for the time that you are there. there are tons of websites that are geared towards Ibiza only. YOU have to do Cafe del mar and watch the sunset!! it's beatiful!! :) |
oops dble post lolo
|
Gerard and I were there last year w/ Benny. Hit me up Steve. We know all the good places.
|
"We've been there, STEEEEEEEVE" 2hp |
only ugly drunk uk girls down there :/
|
I heard there's no law on Ibiza :pimp
|
I've been there one time, some girl a friend of mine was dating had a huge house there.
I didn't really like, Ibiza it's like a competition to see who can be more estreme. Where else can you see a chick wearing a latex suit with holes on her nipples and pussy walking around like it's the most normal thing in the world? Anyway, I found it a bit too much. And the prices at the clubs were outrageous. |
Well i fucking LOVE it !!!
Been the last 6 years in a row. This September, it will be 7. Heading out with the girlfirend and a few other friends this time. We always stay in San Antonio Bay. Away from all the noise, without being too fay away. It's perfect ! We are staying at the "Milord" hotel. http://www.ibiza-hotels.com/fiesta-hotels/milord/ It's defo one of the nicer ones i've seen. About the club prices. Everything is a bit more expensive in the months of July & August, and that's when the place is at it's busiest. The clubs get completely rammed. We go either in June, or September, when it's much better IMO. Busy, but not too busy... |

It was probably a nice place once - but flooded by northern Eurotrash who can't afford an air flight to anywhere else and lack attention at home - so they assume they will become "attention-getters" there as long as they stay drunk 24/7. Kinda like trailerpark trash on TV shows :winkwink: |
I visited Ibiza some years ago.. defintly not a place for anyone who had their 25th birthsday... nothing but young drunk english people screaming and acting like insane in the streets... at least where we were

2007 I hope, but probably 2008 Ibiza is going to be part of my own personal "Awesome Adventure" ....
# 1 - Swim with great white sharks off Seal Island South Africa # 2 - African Safara through Namibia and Kenya # 3 - Bungee Jump and Flying Fix Victoria Falls (both highest in the world) # 4 - Run with the Bulls Pamplona Spain # 5 - Week party on Ibiza. Let me know how you go Steve !!! ;-) |
I have not been there....However check my sig for travel and hotel tips

|

|
lots of hate for the british in here :(
never been but will someday soon for sure im heading to jamaica next month |
oh, i dream about Ibiza but it's only my dreams, unfortunately...:(
|
I heard it can be a bit of a sausage fest but the clubs are off the gook during the high season
|
*Try to live in Santa Eualia - Ibiza town is dull, and San Antonio mostly for drunken kids
*Clubs you must visit - Privilege, Amnesia, El Divino (kind of loungy and classy) - The Club Eden is rather dull. Cafe del Mar is a must. * Check out Playa dhahaha180;en Bossa |
first then you do is get a new passport ;)

Ibiza is a great place. I've been almost every year since 95.
I'm English and I totally understand most the comments made above. Basically San Antonio is the cheaper part of Ibiza where you get all the kids under 25 that just go purely to get as drunk as possible the whole time they're out there. No need to visit San An apart from to check out Cafe Mambo and Del Mar which is next door for the sunsets. You don't get so many drunken kids here as it's a 10 minute walk from San An center aka The West End. Nice place for a meal while you catch the sunset. Best clubs depend on what music you like, but best venues are El Divino, Privilege, Amnesia, Space, DC10 & The Underground. Prices are very expensive, but if you get chatting to the right people it's not to hard to get on the guestlist for most places. If you can afford it get a villa or pay the extra for a decent hotel. But if you're just going to party and don't care about accommodation then I'd stay on the outskirts of San An is it's central and easy to get to all the main clubs and bars. If your buying drugs out there best to get them in the bars or clubs rather than the street dealers as the cops are hot on the case these days. You might find this site useful http://www.internationalvillas.net/ibiza_home.html There's a few lapdancing bars opened up over the last few years which are worth checking out also! Enjoy |
Manumission use to do live sex shows :)
|
Skip the over-rated mega teen party and choose exquisite, instead:
Stay on the south coast of Spain, in an area known Andalucia- costa del sol. Sweet little beach towns one after the other. So much nicer, so much more fun.. more exclusive but not expensive. Check out Torremolinos and Nerja. What an amazing part of the world- enjoy. |
Cafe Del Mar, San Antonio is definately a place to visit. :thumbsup

I've been there a few times and I love it.

Ticket price is a joke, drinks prices are even worse, the music is shite, club is too crowded, and full of gays and weirdos. Avoid !! :warning |

There's a smell of the same thing starting in other places - one is Costa Rica, but this time with US folks - and totally screwing the place with "gated condos" and large-scale development packed into a few hundred hectares. The worship of a dollar knows no bounds. Enjoy your Jamaica trip - much more interesting! :thumbsup |
|
yo steve, IBIZA is the shit,
entertainment: Bora Bora during the day, gorgeous Italian/Spanish/Swedish ladies Pasha, privilidge For Clubbin, Space for the after parties - after the after party cross the street and a new party day starts at bora bora Highly recommendable renting a boat for the day as well |
you can rent out houses there, hotels are shitty
|
Chicks make out all over Ibiza. 2hp |
Oh, Ibiza is still my dream.
|
I used to live on Ibiza, San Antonio should be walled off from the rest of the island, only go there for clubs. it is full of wankers.
Ibiza town is nice, but get a villa out of town, I used to live near es cana, 20 minute drive to ibiza town, away from the tourists. |
50x Ibiza!
