who cares about skins?

it's just a skin, advertisement just like a banner !
it just means that a sponsor wants to say "in case you havent heard about us yet, we exist and offer you the following sites and options to promote.. and we are serious enough to be able to pay $20k for it so that means that we wont be gone tommorow"

GFY gets skinned twice per month and people still make 10 "what a great sin comments"

seriously, who cares?
it will be gone and forgotten in a week anyway

the only thing the skin means to the average user is that your eyes need to adjust and then after a week you can feel better than the skin is already gone :winkwink:
