that is indeed the helicopter pad... they turned it into a tennis court for a promo event. Do you really think they would just let anyone up there and play tennis without any fence to keep them from falling off?

Figure 30 aces and 50 winners per match. I'd bring extra balls (no pun intended). The space from the base line to the edge would make it quite useless for real play too.

Yup, its real. Its the helicopter landing pad at the Burj-Al-Arab hotel in the United Arab Emirites. its a gorgeous hotel which I'd love to visit one day.

I've swum in the gulf just bt the jetty you can see in the pictures. Great place.
