Yeah, they were banned for years but when you look at The Simpsons and Family Guy and American Dad they seem almost tame in comparison.

i think its because of the way these old cartoons bring it... for instance take "uncle toms bungalow", they let him 'win' (as far as paying off a slave seller is winning) but the whole cartoon has this ironic commentary aimed at the black characters... take that last comment when uncle tom comes with all the money - "uncle tom just cashed in on his social securty"
ok i laughed out loud cuz u dont expect such a remark in a kids cartoon, but these are cartoons made for kids and family guy isn't.

Oh, did you see that Disney toon from the WWII section where they show how Hitler and the Nazis raised their youth? It was famous but I've only seen it two times and this time it was far scarier.

Why that one in particular?

Those are neat historical artifacts.

Dude, well said! If one had the original art cells or even sketches from those films you could retire for life.

In the days of WWII because acetate was scarce many if not all the companies would make those toons and then wash the art off the cells to re-use in the next cartoon. You'll see a somewhat reference to this in the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" where they mention 'Dip'.

Fucking tragedy...Some of if not the best Bugs Bunny stuff gone forever because of rationing.
