was kinda eyeballing this ViewSonic from CompUSA..... anyone have anything good or bad to say on it?
|
As I learnt yesterday, if you had spent time posting at porncity, 10,000 posts gets you a pretty nice monitor.. I hear those monitors arent very good, burnout easy or something

AMP -
I have a friend with the sony M81... he seems to love it. It is the one I am thinking of getting. It's got the DVI ability, so with a new DVI video card the quality should be pretty good. |
hey sharky... how's it goin' man?
since we're in the same biz, and I know you know your stuff, I don't wanna make any hasty choices on a screen but I gotta choose soon...., you got a link for that screen? I'd love to check it out..... long as it'll fit into a big ass suitcase.... ;-) |

I have worked on a set up with dual cinema displays doing Audio with split 64 tracks, on Dual g4s oh my twas hotter than Latina Lolitas ;) |
Hey AMP..
going very well. You actually posted the link to the M81 http://www.pcmall.com/pcmall/shop/de...sp?dpno=980459 I've seen it in action.. looks pretty crisp. Just know that you need the DVI video card to go with it for crisp graphics.. might be around $300 for that alone. The Apple display monitors are the best in the biz... however I haven't found a way to use them on a PC... otherwise I would have one! :-) |
ahhhh..... didn't even look at the specs.... just the screen... hehe..... :winkwink:
|
You could probably pick it up for around $800 if you look around.
|
hey sharky..... did you get in on the contest yet?
|
Not yet.. we just don't have time to do that work now. we have a few large contracts with deadlines right around that time.
I don't know all the details of it (too long of a thread to read), but sounds like a cool thing. I'm very confident in our work.. so If i do have the time I will join up. I could use a big screen tv for the office:-) |
Best Bang For the Buck Monitors are Samsung Dynaflat Monitors.
www.nextag.com www.pricewatch.com Use those to search for best prices. Others like Ebay but if you might perform brand spanking new =) |
|
Amp, I'm sure Rollin has 2 or 3 laying around
