hello...

Visto doesn't mean visa... :P

Visto can mean Seen
or Visto can mean a thing u need on your passport to enter certain countries...
like USA...

As to vitur.... that doesn't mean anything... probably a bad type...

hmm according to babelfish visto means Visa.. and it is the biggest lettered logo part of my Brasilian VISA.... but you're portuguese so i guess i shouldnt try to debate.. but common sense tells me that is visa in brasilian portuguese...

anyhow Vitur - 47 and Vitur -66 are both manually typed into both of my brazilian visas in my passport so i doubt its a typo...

any other ideas?

chupachups 05-15-2006 03:13 AM

For gods sakes guys:

Exighahaha234;ncia de visto: Sim, VIDIP, VISOF, VITUR (VITUR pode ser obtido no aeroporto de entrada em Jacarta bem como em Denpasar, Bali, e custa US$ 15 por trhahaha234;s dias ou US$ 25 por um mhahaha234;s

mOrrI 05-15-2006 03:53 AM

OK.... u should reference it was brasilian :D

There are some diferenhahaha231;es between the Original portuguese and the Brasilian portuguese.... :D

i think u should get a Brasilian response :D

I am portuguese and never heard the word VITUR.

VISTO meens SEEN but also VISA (that sticker you place in passports, not VISA credit card).

So VITUR can be a short for "Visa for tourists" (VIsto para TURistas ).

By the way portuguese is spoken in Portugal, Brasil, Angola, Mozambique, etc so it can be a localized term

Have fun

So if Vitur is in your Passport it means it's a visto :D
lol... i dunno the word in english :D

but i know a lot of countries need a vitur to enter USA for example...
