Free gas is certainly not what the gas station owners had in mind. Kevin Tippit is manager of the Phillips 66 at Lindell and Boyle in St. Louis. Unfortunately the gas stations already paid the oil companies by the time this happened.
So, its hurting the guy who owns the station, and not the bad guys. The station itself only makes a few cents per gallon to begin with. I think this is fucked up. |
Margins for the actual gas stations are VERY low. So, I kind of do feel bad for them. They make their money off of the twinkies and pepsi that they sell in their little shops.

They should have stole the truck that delivered the gas. Then it might have hurt the oil companies, and not the entreprenuers.

When you steal from a gas station you are stealing from a person/company that is already making very little from each sale. It does not hurt the oil companies in the least. If you want to hurt the oil companies stop driving.
