MIAMI PEOPLE! Need Some Help!!
 

I'm going to Florida in 3 weeks on vacation with my girlfriend and two friends. Its my birthday when I'm out there and we're gonna take a drive down to Miami for 3 nights so I need to know the best place to stay.

I was told Ocean Drive is the best for partying, bars, clubs etc. So I need to know some decent hotels. What ya'll got for me?

why not the diplomat where the internext is held at? just north of miami... its in hollywood.

If you're planning on spending most of your time on South Beach, then staying at the Diplomat is a bit far. There's a Loews, Delano, Fountainbleu. There are also a lot of smaller boutique hotels that are right on Ocean Drive or Collins Avenue.

All those places are very pricey, hell celebs stay there. But southbeach anything is not cheap, you will drop a mint having the tourist experience at the "clubs"

Hmmm...I'm starting to think its gonna be a bit too expensive just to go down there for a few nights. Its not fair on my friends paying out all that money just for my birthday.

We looked into going to the Bahamas for a few nights as well. Thats pretty cheap.

Act like a tourist and get treated as such......just like in any town. But now SoBe is cheap compared to the "in season" rates.

Ross has an accent, he will be fucked from the beginning. Go to the bahamas instead, get some all inclusive package.. Your average drink in miami can be anywhere from 10 usd to 25 and those arent always great places or even good drinks.

You will also wait in lines because you dont know anyone and will have to pay some retarded covercharge to get into a crappy place.

Ross head to the bahamas, I'll be there in 28 days :) RIU Paradise Island w00t. All inclusive also. Right next to the Atlantis resort.

I guess Miami is out the window. For 3 nights we'd be looking at spending around $1000 per person. I couldn't ask my friends to spend that much.

I can go to the Bahamas all inclusive with flights from Orlando for $600 per person.

Dude, fuck the Bahamas. I would strongly suggest looking at the all-inclusives in the Dominican Republic. I have never had a good time in the Bahamas, all the hotels besides Atlantis are shit, and Atlantis will make South Beach look cheap.

Look into Punta Cana in the DR, insanely nice beaches, huge pools, nice rooms, all your food and drinks included. The Iberostar line of hotels are nice, as well as the Paradisus (for some more $$) and the Bahia Principe.

I always wanted to visit Miami after watching 8th And Ocean. Its this show on mtv that is about these up and coming models and their trials and tribulations in the fascinating world of modelling.

Yeah there is, and that modelling agency is right there. That show is all staged, half of those models work in restraunts on lincoln road like Cafeteria.

Mansion, opium, prive are some of the more fancy popular places, I can set you up with a tour guide down here, I am just sick of all the same shit, been to all those places 1000 times

No need. I was going to give payback for that awesome 42". But I can relate to doing the same stuff too much with out of towners. Just going to soak up some sun and see how the new girl travels.

checkout the hotel http://www.alexanderhotel.com/ I get some really nice 2 bedroom 2 bath full kitchen suites on the beach there .. :thumbsup and there not an arm and a leg .. I believe they are privatively owned and rented when empty because they are all different each time i stay there ..:)

I'm listening the the reverberations of Mansion's booming bass right now. Live across the street. It's becoming a real pain in the ass...

You want to stay at the Delano or at the Shoreclub. They are both awesome hotels! You will not be disappointed!

Last time I was there we hit Nikki Beach, Mansion, Mynt, Bed, and a bunch of bars on Ocean Drive.

If you like sushi, check out Sushi Samba. We actually met a promoter there and he hooked us up big time while we were there.

South beach is all hip hop and black folks this weekend. Having fun but was just surprised.

Yeah this is the worst weekend to visit, the only weekend of the year i would say not to show up! Every memorial day down here they have like 100 + arrests for all kinds of crazy stuff. You will notice the cops every 50 feet on ocean drive. Stay away from wet willies and you should be fine!

All the whiteys flee to key west this weekend. Club prices will more then insane this weekend cause they can charge whatever and get it.

Fly to Orlando, and take a cruise to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. Carnival & Royal Carribean have great rates, food, & entertainment.
