DON'T (I'll repeat that - DON'T!!!!) ever, every try to win it back. 'Chasing' is probably why you lost so much in the first place.

Delete all gambling related software if you have any installed. Remove all bookmarks - take away as much temptation as you can to gamble.

Then spend the next few weeks in the shit financially but working hard and most importantly DO NOT gamble.

A month or four down the road and the losses will be recovered by hard work (less if you earn well) and it'll all be a distant memory.

I used to have a nasty gambling problem many years ago. With me it took having to bring up children to stop me - fortunately they came first - and sicne then hasn't been a problem.

Agreeed - the WORST thing that happened to me was winning 50 thousand on the pokies.

I love gambling :) I try not to bet more than I can afford to lose (most of the time), and sometimes do quite well. Plus it's lots of fun and you can't argue with free drinks :)
