Anyone own one of these thinking of getting one of these loaded to add to my car collection either this week or next. so all the good or bad with them please.

why should it matter if Im a chick or what boxster is the only model that has ever caught my eye the rest look like shit to me.

I actually meant like how do they handle are they worth the cash shit like that. what upgrades should I get if any im already getting custom paint and GPS and total S package upgrade anything else?

i dont own one or anything but i know every car mag, show, website etc has these kicking everything else down. i was just reading automobile mag earlier about how they love it over the new bmw z4 M roadster even though the bimmer is a bit faster. the cayman is same idea but faster but imo its kinda funny looking.

and for all the poeple who say "poor mans porsche" fuck them and their toyota camry or whatever they drive.

porsche owners don't even consider the boxster to be a real porsche....so that should tell you something about it.

and 911 enthusiats were in an uproar when the new 911 design resembled that of the boxster.

problem is the other porsches are ugly as hell the 911 for example I wouldnt even step in that thing is butt ugly.. Im not into racing im into general cruising I might drive it 1 or 2 times a month most.

Not a fan of Porsches. Very expensive for parts, service, and repairs.

i had a 2002 boxster then ordered a 2005 boxster s... i can tell u. for the money the boxster s rocks. ask a porsche dealer. the mid engine out performs all the rear engine on a short track. which is the closest to real road conditions... i loved them both. if you are really going to get one. get the carrera wheels abnd the carerra sport seats. they make a world of difference.. :2 cents:

I think the Porsche Boxster is nice, but everyone just looks on it as the poor mans 911. Even tho the same people probably could never afford one.

By the sounds of it you can afford to pay more, so why not go and get something else? You say you don't like the 911 so go buy an M3 or something else. If you just want if for cruising the M3 would be perfect!

I really like the look of the boxter and agree that the 911 is a fugly car . . . I looked at the boxter, I got a vette instead and did connsider the 350z however the 'balls' on the vette sold me . . I saw that you have a viper however you'll find the vette an everyday driver and the new z06 is a serious contender to the viper anyway . . although I prefer 'no stick' on my everyday cars . . so look at a c6 . .

I have a V6 that puts out 295hp (G35)...and I bet I paid alot less :1orglaugh
