Do you find it irritating when a sponsor doesn't respond to your affiliate sign up?
 

I understand why many sponsors want to review affiliate applications but I get seriously miffed when I hear nothing for a week and then even after two follow up enquiry emails from me there is no response.
I guess I should just forget them since it might suggest I'm likely to have more problems from them in the future...

In general I have moved on to other sponsors but in a couple of cases I particularly wanted to be part of their program. Oh well...

It's also a bummer on the flip side of that... for instance, when an affiliate signs up to promote my site and doesn't show a working URL. I write them asking to see an active website and never hear back from them.

Yeah, I can understand affiliates that sign up with no working url must be irritating too. It's just that I've recently had two sponsors apparently ignoring all communication.
