The content is pretty much useless for promoting any sites because of the watermark. So some people will end up buying non-watermarked content from him.. Those that do use the content will generate typeins for the domain which will end up clicking thru to his paysite, thus free advertising and sales.

true, but for someone that would have no content yet they can use that to start off. Sure, with that watermark it's free advertising for the site, but for free what do you expect? :)

Also, some WMs clicking thru will see his program and sign up.. Others will see the watermark in galleries etc. and will go to the domain curious if it's a new teen site they could promote. Some of those will sign up as affiliates.

In other words, it's not an altruistic "free". It's free because it's great advertising for him and that's why he's doing it.
