That's exactly what I thought moments after he got to his punchline. I was sitting here thinking "oh shit, what did I miss in the last 5 minutes?!"

All the writers care about is making the crowd laugh

He just says what the guy says in his ear piece.

The wife and I watch Leno nearly every night - and most nights his opening monologue is filled with topics that look as though they were ripped right from the pages of GFY (usually a day or two after they appear here).

Wouldn't surprise me if his writing staff surf various online forums for their comedy material.
