New car, and Oh Im back...

We got our new car a couple of weeks ago but I have been a bit too ill to come online and get work and posting completed. After a horrible bout of migraines and sickness which only cleared up on Tuesday'ish I get a lovely bout of food poisoning yesterday which leaves me down and out til now. Thankfully it was just one day but I think it is safe to say Im having no more chippies!!!

Anyhoo Ive attached a pic of the beasts, shes a lovely runner, we found out something great when we went to get the seatbelts fitted (she only came with lap belts and thats not that good when you need a childs car seat in the car)She has Bilstein adjustable suspenstion...Apparently thats really good!!!Paul was kinda hapy about it all so Im assuming its good.

Oh god and dont get me started on the car seats...We went to mothercare, a baby shop in the UK, and they fitted every car seat that they had but no avail, none would fit. We went to Halfords (A barry car shop that sells normal things too) and they had the one and only car seat that would fit (according to mothercare) but the guy at halfords wouldnt sell me it as he was adamant it wouldnt fit and wouldnt even attempt it, in the end had to sign a declartion saying I knew the car seat wasnt suitable and was unsafe yet still wanted to buy it...Got it in the car and fits like a dream....FUCKERS!!!!!

I've always liked that car ... just not sure it's a family style car ... but pretty cool

Definitely not family style lol...The seats in the back are bucketed which means nearly no car seat will fit, there was only like 1 in the 20 that did fit that we tried and thankfully it was the hahaha163;200 one!! (Yes thats a GBP sign tagged to a fracking car seat!)

Its a coupe which is hell for getting the kid in and out of the back and its so low down to the ground I scrape my ass of the speed bumps, but its safer (and most of the other sports cars like this) than most of those acclaimed family cars. Dont get me started on how we nearly died, and the skyline saved our lives..

Damn doesnt time just fly!! I cant believe it but shes a cheeky wee thing she really is, wouldnt have her any other way..And yes we get stuff everywhere in the back..Shes always throwing her food out of her chair and onto the floor, Paul is forever hovering and cleaning the damn thing LOL...His fault! I was happy with a family car, I didnt mind going back to a normal one but not Paul...He decided to get something even more powerful than the lasT!!

thanks guys, missed my gfy posting amongst other board posting, Paul stole my PC of me till I got better, but still feeling very ill..However- deadlines wait for no man (or woman)

I missed a lot of that .xxx drama while I was out, anything else interesting I missed out on? The threads from two-seven days ago would be like 10 pages down by now lol

Hes a fan of those silly sports cars and I am just a victim in his reign of finding a car fast enough that suits him but not so fast that he kills us all...One day it will come..

I loved that car. It was running just over 500hp and was probably the fastest car I have ever owned. Tell Paul to look into the Brembo brakes for your 300ZX; they saved my ass more than once. :winkwink:
