I could care less about supeonas. What good would that do? If Bush goes then it's president Cheney for 2 1/2 years. Anyways government works better when one party isn't in charge of everything. No checks and balances. Ask Nazi Germany and the USSR about one party rule. Doesn't work.

I am not talking impeachment here, I don't even really support it. I know his admin has broken some laws, but impeachment wouldn't be good for the country ++++ we have to look forward to 2008 and winning, impeachment won't help us there.

But Subpeona's are used for investigations, etc, etc I fully support getting to the truth about Iraq, various scandals, cia, Nsa, etc.

That is congress's job, OVERSIGHT - which they have been lacking for over 5 years. Shame on them....

I believe this is all part of Karl Rove's plan. The Bush admin is going to dump every bit of bad news they can now, because they know in 6 months nobody will remember anyways.

That's why Bush is nominating that NSA guy to head the CIA, get it all out in the open now and be over with it well before the midterm elections.

The Clinton admin was masterful at this, they would leak bad news on Friday afternoons knowing that it would be old news by Monday. It usually worked.

Kerry would have fucked us over just as bad. I didnt waste my vote, I voted Libertarian. Bush is a worthless piece of snake shit who deserves to be taken to the highest mountain this country has and thrown from the top. I really wish they'd impeach the son of a bitch.

Pull out of Iraq? People are going to cry that it's Vietnam all over again. We pledged not to leave until things are working. If we leave, it will be civil war.

Gas prices? All politicians are pledging to fight "price gouging" yet nobody is doing anything. Maybe they're using this as a new form of tax to offset some of the costs of war lol.

We can all call Bush names, but what solutions need to be put in place once he leaves office and how should they be implemented.

The 10 Steps to Save America

1. Repeal the federal income tax. Replace with a 1% federal sales tax that applies to all items bought even for resale and NO exemptions for anyone or anything. States, cities and counties would each be free to add a tax of thier own but it would have to be a flat tax and it would cover all purchases with no exceemptions for anyone or anything.

2. Repeal the Patriot Act. Replace with nothing.

3. Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. Return to the gold/silver standard.

4. Repeal the Social Security Act of 1935. Replace with government-printed educational brochure on how to invest your own damn money.

5. Repeal property taxes. Close all public schools. Replace with a requirement that parents send thier kids to private schools. Thousands of private schools will open to fill the need at economical prices.

6. End Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Food Stamps, Housing Vouchers and all other handout programs. Replace with work or starve program. Real simple: if you dont make enough to buy food, you'll croak.

7. Create a consitutional ammendment that outlaws taxation of gasoline (except the 1% federal sales tax) and makes it unlawful to require any citizen to register vechiles, affix license plates to vechiles or obtain drivers licenses. This would effectively eliminate the BMVs found in every state.

8. Repeal all roadway taxes. Convert all interstates into toll roads. Interstates unable to support themselves financially would be closed. State routes, county highways and city streets would be maintained by thier respective units of government from the revenue from thier sales tax.

9. Repeal all gun laws. Require that firearms training be included in the cirriculum of every private school. Change the law to read that any homeowner is permitted to shoot to kill any trespasser or person committing any criminal act regardless of whether they are threatening the person or not.

10. Enact legislation that provides for a consumer to sue for and collect a statutory damage of $1 million dollars for each and every occurance of misuse of personal information.

There are tons of books and such about this already. People simply aren't responsible enough. If we were, we wouldn't be living on credit and check to check. Maybe government has to save people from themselves for the greater good in the long run.
